After four months back home in London recovering from a shoulder surgery, I was desperate to get back on track with my adventure in Asia - starting with Sri Lanka. Maybe I was a little too eager booking a one-way ticket without any research on this stunning little island, but then again, maybe I was all the better for it. I arrived with eyes wide open and no expectations or plans and fell madly in love with its tropical coasts and lowlands, lush green hills and mountains, welcoming faces, smiles and of course, its spectacular train rides...
